The Naked Face is the first novel (1970) written by Sidney Sheldon, an Academy Award-winning American writer who is known as one of the best authors in weaving a thrilling plot, does his first novel here. It was nominated by the Mystery Writers of America for the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best First Novel by an American Author. The Novel is a pretty decent read.  It's simple, and straight-forward - not nearly as multi-faceted as some of his later works.  But still a reasonably well put together murder mystery.
